Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and account type

Tevara Personal is currently intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.

A Tevara Personal account is designed to represent one person's own career profile. If Tevara offers a separate employer, recruiter, institution or organisation product, that service may have additional or different terms.

2. What Tevara provides

Tevara is a career-intelligence and career-decision-support service. Depending on the product or entitlement available to you, Tevara may provide features such as:

• Reality Check and Career Intelligence;
• career-positioning, role-direction and gap analysis;
• governed career reports;
• resume or CV improvement and evidence validation;
• resume checks and targeted resume checks;
• job-description matching and opportunity evaluation; and
• related career guidance using your saved Tevara career state.

Feature availability may vary by access channel, product, plan, entitlement, location or supported host.

3. Your account and career identity

Tevara uses authenticated accounts. Your account may be linked to a confirmed professional identity and a saved governed career state.

You must keep your login and account access secure and must not knowingly allow another person to use your Tevara Personal account as if it were their own career account.

Tevara may use identity and career-evidence checks to help prevent a personal account from being used to process another person's career profile. If Tevara cannot establish that submitted career information belongs to the account holder, it may pause or block processing and ask for clarification.

4. Your information and responsibilities

You are responsible for information you submit to Tevara. You agree that:

• the career information you provide will be truthful to the best of your knowledge;
• you will not intentionally fabricate qualifications, employment history, achievements, compensation, credentials or other evidence;
• you have the right to submit the documents and information you provide;
• you will review important outputs before relying on or publishing them; and
• you will not treat instructions embedded inside uploaded documents as instructions to Tevara unless you deliberately give those instructions yourself.

Tevara may decline to validate or strengthen a claim that is unsupported, inconsistent or appears misleading.

5. AI-assisted outputs and career decisions

Tevara combines governed rules, career evidence, software logic and AI-assisted processing. Some conclusions may be governed by Tevara's own scoring or validation rules, while explanatory or drafted content may be generated or composed with the help of AI systems.

AI-assisted systems can make mistakes, misunderstand source material or produce incomplete information. Market conditions, job requirements and employer preferences also change over time.

You remain responsible for your decisions, applications and representations to employers or other third parties. Where an output concerns a significant career, contractual, legal, financial, tax, immigration or other specialist matter, obtain appropriate professional advice when needed.

6. Third-party hosts and integrations

Tevara may be accessed through third-party AI hosts or integration platforms, including supported conversational AI products. When you use Tevara through another platform:

• that platform's own terms, privacy settings and account rules also apply to your use of that platform;
• the host may generate conversational explanations, drafts or other content using Tevara outputs;
• Tevara is responsible for Tevara's own service and governed outputs, not for independent functionality or content controlled solely by the host; and
• availability of Tevara through a particular host can change if that host changes its technical, product or policy requirements.

7. Paid services, entitlements and refunds

7.1 Product terms at purchase

If you purchase a Tevara product, the price, taxes, included features, usage limits, validity period and other product-specific terms shown at the point of purchase form part of these Terms.

Do not rely on an old screenshot, message or third-party description of Tevara pricing or entitlements. The offer presented by Tevara at the time of purchase controls.

7.2 Entitlements

A purchase may grant access for a defined period, a defined number of checks or actions, or a combination of both. Ordinary discussion, explanation or editing does not necessarily consume a product credit; a credit is consumed only as described in the applicable product offer.

Entitlements are linked to the relevant Tevara account and may not be resold, transferred or shared unless Tevara expressly allows it.

7.3 Payment processing

Where a Tevara-managed paid purchase is available, payment credentials are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout. Tevara may retain transaction references and entitlement records needed to confirm and administer the purchase.

7.4 Refunds and failed delivery

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, charged more than once, or did not receive a paid Tevara service because of a technical failure, contact support@tevara.work with enough information for us to investigate the transaction.

Refunds and remedies are assessed according to the product terms presented at purchase and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Permitted and prohibited use

You may use Tevara for legitimate career-related purposes covered by the product or entitlement available to you.

You must not:

• use a Tevara Personal account to assess, impersonate or create a governed career state for another person;
• use Tevara Personal for bulk candidate screening, automated hiring decisions or employer-side assessment of third parties;
• attempt to extract, reconstruct, reverse-engineer or circumvent Tevara's proprietary scoring, weighting, prompts, occupational mappings, validation logic or security controls;
• scrape or automate access at a scale or in a manner not expressly authorised by Tevara;
• probe, attack, disrupt or interfere with Tevara systems, accounts or infrastructure;
• bypass entitlement, identity, access-control or usage restrictions;
• submit unlawful content or content that infringes another person's rights; or
• use Tevara to create or knowingly present false professional claims.

If Tevara later offers a recruiter, employer or institutional service specifically designed for third-party career data, use of that separate service will be governed by the permissions and terms applicable to it.

9. Intellectual property and your outputs

9.1 Your information

You retain ownership of the resume, career information and other original material you submit. You give Tevara a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store and use that material as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and maintain the service you request, subject to our Privacy Policy.

9.2 Your career outputs

You may use Tevara reports, career guidance, resume drafts, validated resume versions and similar outputs created for your account for your own professional purposes, including job applications, networking, career planning and sharing with advisers or prospective employers.

9.3 Tevara intellectual property

Tevara's software, brand, scoring architecture, frameworks, occupational graph, methodologies, prompts, validation rules, report logic, design assets and other proprietary systems remain the intellectual property of Tevara / People Elements or their respective licensors.

Your right to use your personal outputs does not give you the right to copy, publish, sell, reverse-engineer or commercially reproduce Tevara's underlying systems or methodology.

10. Privacy and data protection

Your use of Tevara is also governed by the Tevara Privacy Policy.

Tevara Personal is not session-only: account and career information, including completed governed career results, may be saved so that the same career intelligence can be reused across later interactions. Tevara does not sell your personal career data.

Privacy rights and obligations apply according to the law in force and applicable at the relevant time.

11. Service availability and changes

Tevara may add, change, limit, suspend or discontinue features, integrations or products. We may also update models, providers, infrastructure and methods used to deliver the service, provided that governed product commitments and applicable legal obligations are respected.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, third-party outages, host-platform changes, network failures or other events may temporarily affect access.

12. Suspension and termination

Tevara may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate suspected misuse, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or respond to security or payment issues.

You may stop using Tevara at any time. Requests concerning deletion of personal data are handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable law. Ending access does not automatically require deletion of records that must reasonably be retained for security, transaction, dispute or legal purposes.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tevara is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Tevara does not warrant that every analysis, recommendation, market observation, role direction, draft or generated output will be complete, current, error-free or appropriate for every individual circumstance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, guarantee or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tevara / People Elements will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the service, including loss of an employment opportunity, anticipated income or business opportunity resulting from a career decision or third-party hiring decision.

Where liability cannot be excluded but may lawfully be limited, Tevara's aggregate liability arising from a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid Tevara for the affected service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

This section does not limit liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

15. Misuse and indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses or claims caused by your unlawful misuse of Tevara, deliberate infringement of third-party rights, unauthorised submission of another person's data, or material breach of these Terms.

This section does not require a consumer to indemnify Tevara for losses caused by Tevara's own conduct or for rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

If you have a dispute or complaint, please first contact support@tevara.work so that we can try to resolve it directly.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue the remedies available under applicable law before a court, tribunal, consumer forum or other competent authority with jurisdiction.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when Tevara's products, operating model, service providers or legal requirements change. The version and effective date at the top of this page will be updated.

Where a change materially affects existing users' rights or obligations, Tevara will take reasonable steps to provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law.

18. General terms

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

A failure by Tevara to enforce a provision immediately does not waive the right to enforce it later.

You may not transfer your personal Tevara account or entitlement to another person unless Tevara expressly permits it. Tevara may transfer these Terms as part of a lawful reorganisation, merger, acquisition or transfer of the Tevara business, subject to applicable law and privacy obligations.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any product-specific terms shown at purchase or activation, form the agreement governing your use of Tevara.
